Description
Sears Holdings Management Corporation provides corporate services to Sears Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ: SHLD) and its family of companies, including Sears Roebuck and Co. and Kmart Corporation. The Delivery Manager/Manager of eCommerce Software Development Mobile will work closely with the project teams, rapidly developing solutions that provide new functionality and services to our customers. This position will be responsible for delivering projects on time and within budget. Management of on and off shore resources will be key to the success of delivering solutions. This role will also partner with the training organization to determine necessary skills and training plans for associates. As a member of the team, you will have the chance to work on unique and innovative solutions on a highly scalable eCommerce platform.Responsibilities/Skills/Experience/Requirements Rapidly develop technology and system solutions using approved methodology Coordinate teams activities to effectively utilize all roles and associates Work closely with developers, business analysts and technical architects to deliver technology solutions to meet business needs Understand business and technical requirements, working with resource and project managers to determine timelines Manage all resources including off shore associates to complete projects and releases on time and within scope and budget Manage the creation of detail design documentation Build subject matter expertise within the development teams Provide and communicate project status and issue resolution Motivate team to achieve results utilizing their potential Show a sense of urgency and work with operations team to quickly respond to operational issues Participate in technology forums and industry user groups Experience: 5-7 years of work experience in managing a web development team of 10-15 associates with some experience with mobile technologies 5-7 years experience in coding applications, specifically customer facing web applications and some mobile application and websites Ability to code in a variety of languages, Java, XML, HTTP, SOAP, AJAX, Objective C, J2ME and other web / mobile technologies Experience in managing with remote teams internal and external teams Experience with off shore developmentA comprehensive and competitive benefit program is designed to meet the needs of our associates and their families.
