Position Description:
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Examine a variety of highly complex design engineering drawings and develop computer generated fabrication/assembly instructions. Develop Numerical Control data sets for fabrication and machining of complex parts. Perform advanced IPD assignments on complex production parts. Detect production deficiencies and implement solutions. Identify, recommend, and implement new manufacturing processes and techniques to improve efficiency. Develops solution on issues relating to Cell Manufacturing concept such as space, flow analysis, cycle time, budget, performance factors and labor standards. Participate in selection, qualification, and support for ITTG suppliers.
Experience Requirements:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent applicable experience. At least four years of progressively more responsible experience in manufacturing electronic equipment.
KNOWLEDGE
Fully knowledgeable and experienced in utilization of manufacturing systems and controls, i.e., MRP, CAD/CAM. Knowledgeable and able to implement the principles of Total Quality Management.
ABILITIES
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Ability to analyze systems/product deficiencies and recommend solutions.
