Description
Analyzes actual and predictable interacting operational activities of a military, governmental, or business system to obtain a quantitative, rational basis for decision-making or resource allocation. Utilizes modeling and measuring techniques, mathematics, statistical methods, engineering methods, operational mathematics techniques, and other principles and laws of scientific and economic disciplines in determining solutions.
Position is in support of the Joint Maritime Escort Test & Evaluation JFS in Suffolk, VA. Initial task will entail a 7 month effort to develop a test plan for a 2-3 year Joint Test to develop escort tactics and procedures involving high value maritime assets. Development of test plans and procedures in support of the JMETE JFS. Identify issues and data requirements; conduct analysis of test results; help design scenarios that could be modeled.
Experience Requirements:
Operations Research & Systems Analysis (ORSA). Experience with Service Operational Test Agencies (OTA) doing test design and analysis. Familiarity with Master Test Plans and their development.
Successful candidates will have completed a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required.
