Description
Position is in support of the Joint Maritime Escort Test & Evaluation JFS in Suffolk, VA. Initial task will entail a 7 month effort to develop a test plan for a 2-3 year Joint Test to develop escort tactics and procedures involving high value maritime assets. Development of test plans and procedures in support of the JMETE JFS. Identify issues and data requirements; conduct analysis of test results; help design scenarios that could be modeled. The program will require a direct interface with personnel in a Joint T&E Environment, with substantive interaction with Navy organizations.
- Development of test plans and procedures in support of the Joint Test & Evaluation programs and activities.
- Collection and analysis of test data, and development of test reports.
- Plan, observe and document formal testing.
Experience Requirements:
Experience with Service Operational Test Agencies (OTA) doing test design and analysis. Familiarity with Master Test Plans and their development (TEMP, SAMP, etc).
- Design of test plans and development of test procedures in support of system performance verification.
- Understanding of Concepts of Employment (CONOPS), and Tactics Techniques and Procedures (TTPs)
- Understanding of test data collection and reduction tools and techniques
- Strong written English communications skills, and the ability to draft presentations for senior leadership
Successful candidates will have completed a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required.
