Position Description:
Provide new equipment training and institutional training along with Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) activities for the 2nd battalion 6th Air Defense Artillery in support of the Counter-Rocket, Artillery and Mortar (C-RAM). Instruct students in WAVES/Wireless Operations/Initialization maintenance, troubleshooting, system administrations tasks and tactics, techniques, and procedures. Review and adjust POI to support BDOC and EO Cell operations and battle drills. Evaluate student performance by conducting written and practical exams. Review and analyze a variety of lesson plans, examination packets and instructional guides to ensure the soldiers are receiving quality training. Ensure U.S. and allied soldiers, entry through senior level, become knowledgeable and proficient with the skills needed to operate, maintain, and repair the C-RAM system equipment. Provide SME support during MREs while developing and establishing associated program plans, processes, and control procedures to successfully implement and execute individual institutional training programs that will include the operational readiness of the equipment to support training. Experience Requirements:
Experience operating the Wireless Audio Visual Emergency System (WAVES) and Wireless communication system. Instructional experience within the training domain (conducting conference and practical instructional exercises). Must be able to demonstrate the ability to analyze and resolve problems, have excellent verbal and written communications skills, and must possess current functional skills on the Microsoft Office software suite. Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred or related field or equivalent (5 years of related experience is accepted in lieu of degree) with at least four years experience in management, leadership, and organizational planning. Have working knowledge of Department of the Army and TRADOC training and maintenance processes, procedures, policies, requirements and regulations. Experience working with Counter- Rocket, Artillery, Mortar (C-RAM) system of system capabilities. Must be able to obtain a US security clearance which requires US citizenship.
