Description

The Development Services Temporary Assistant will be the key staff member working on the Development Officeâ??s scanning project and ongoing database integrity program. The Assistant will work under the supervision of the AVP of Development Operations and receive guidance from the Office Coordinator, the Director of Gift Administration, and the Director of Development Services. This position requires strong organizations skills, great attention to detail, and the ability to perform as an independent worker.
* Please note, that this position could be a Full Time temporary position or may have flexiblitity to be two PT Temporary positions.
Working under direction of the Office Coordinator, the Assistant will:
1. Prepare paper files for scanning project
2. Review donor files and eliminate duplicate documents
3. Review research files and consolidate with donor files when appropriate
4. Tag all remaining documentation, when not obvious, with metadata (keyword) codes
Working under direction of Director of Gift Administration, the Assistant will:
1. Consolidate and properly handle new fund documentation
2. Sort and organize fund documentation
3. Scan all documentation
4. Link electronic document to proper Raiserâ??s Edge fund record
Working under direction of Director of Development Services, the Assistant will:
1. Perform data entry for single additions of information or changes to donor records as needed. May include address changes, contact name changes, spousal changes, deceasing a record, recognition names, alumni information.
2. Ensure accurate mailing addresses.
3. Consolidate and clean up duplicate records
4. Assist in maintaining data integrity by using database maintenance queries to identify errors and discrepancies
