Job Description:

Our client a major financial institution in Palo Alto, CA is searching for a highly-motivated banking professional for the Business Relationship Manager position. The Business Relationship Manager acquires, develops, and maintains profitable account relationships with business customers who have gross sales of generally less than $20MM. 

ü Responsible for the overall success and growth for assigned sales territory.

ü Serves as the relationship manager to existing customers.

ü Provides continuing financial advice as needed.

ü Determines customer's commercial loan and deposit needs and deepens existing customer relationships.

ü Acts as the customer's advocate in securing suitable credit and cross sells products and services.

ü Partners with other business acquisition sales channels to obtain customer referrals, additionally responsible for identifying prospects and acquiring own customers.

ü May structure and complete straightforward secured and unsecured business and individual loans.

 

 

 

 

You will be responsible for:

ü Maintaining a high level customer service, gathering required data and providing assessments on the performance of existing accounts.

ü Quickly respond to customer operational needs and requests, ensuring resolution of problems.

ü Provides a high level of operational support to an assigned team of Merchant Relationship Managers.

ü Consolidates, analyzes and interprets customer activity in support of customer retention.

ü Provides a high level of analytical support duties, providing detailed level reports for internal and external customer reporting.

 Minimum Qualifications:

ü Minimum 3 years business-to-business/financial services sales.

ü Proven track record as top sales performer.

ü Working knowledge of interpreting financial statements, applying business accounting and finance principles.

ü Prior experience structuring commercial credit loans up to $3MM, and managing an extensive portfolio of clients.

ü Proficient in Windows based software.

ü Ambitious, flexible, tenacious, and resilient.
