***Previous Appliance Sales and Management experience prefered.
-Creates a guest centric culture with all associates: in-stock, staffing, communication, etc.
-Responsible for merchandising and replenishing the sales floor to The Great Indoors' standards and maintaining stockroom integrity in the assigned areas
-Manages hiring, staffing and scheduling of associates to meet business demands
-Trains associates on guest service, merchandising, product knowledge and selling skills to grow revenue
-Trains associates on selling services: maintenance agreements, installation, credit, delivery, POS
-Creates and exhibits a sense of ownership and empowerment in their team
-Responsible for inventory management of all lines of merchandise in their departments: inventory levels, turnover, ordering, transitioning, price integrity, clearance, merchandising
-Works with the installation and expediting departments to ensure seamless completion of all jobs
-Reviews job folders with installation to ensure that jobs are sold correctly
-Reviews the Lead Report daily and follows up with associates as required
-Plans and manages vendor/support services activities
-Manages special order catalogs and pricing lists
-Reviews and acts upon communication from store support; communicates issues to store support
-Attends required meetings and conducts training/communication meetings for associates
-Handles required store management duties
-Performance management of associates including daily measuring and coaching on sales per hour to standard and lead generation and close rates; monthly performance reviews to measure sales per hour and other performance metrics
-Analyzes business results using the required reports, and develops and executes action plan for improvement
-As a store staff leader handles guest issues from other departments as required
-Adheres to The Great Indoors' code of ethics
-Always represents The Great Indoors by maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor
-Miscellaneous duties as requested by senior management
-Successful retail commission sales management background; marketing, installation, remodeling, merchandising, and guest service experience
