Description

Responsibilities:

Provide regulatory guidance and compliance assurance for the Refinerys Corrective Action Program by:

* Developing and maintaining expert knowledge of State and Federal corrective action regulations
* Monitoring new regulations that may impact compliance
* Participating in regulatory development process to influence outcomes
* Developing strategies to maximize benefit resulting from these issues.
* Provide regulatory support and leadership to address reporting issues and compliance issues associated with State and Federal regulations,by:
* Coordinating the implementation of changes to plant programs and procedures is necessary to maintain compliance with regulatory and internal requirements
* Performing periodic reviews of environmental programs and procedures to assure continued compliance with regulatory and internal requirements
* Ensuring timely preparation and submission of all required reports
* Providing necessary training to site personnel to assure compliance.

Requirements:

* Legal authorization to work in the US on a full time basis for anyone other than current employer
* Minimum of 5 years experience in RCRA Corrective Action for petrochemical facilities
* Bachelor's of Science in Engineering or related science
* Proven ability to work closely with designated operations and technical staff
* Demonstrated understanding and mindset for establishing effective compliance management systems
* Proven experience with Texas Risk Reduction program
* Minimum 5 years experience overseeing site's risk based corrective action program.
