Description
FSR 1
Provides superior customer service through listening to customers, anticipating their needs, and recommending financial services. Opens new accounts, takes loan applications, and refers customers to specialized bankers, such as Business Bankers and Mortgage Originators, to ensure the needs of the customer are met. Educates customers on automated service options available including ATMs, Internet Banking, etc. Supports the goals of the branch through effective teamwork. As indicated by level, may assist with routine Teller transactions on an on-going bases, may train new employees, may assist Branch Manager, etc. Pursues on-going education of SunTrust products, services, and other lines of business. Entry level position; perform basic sales functions; developing product and loan knowledge. Perform basic Teller functions on an on-going, routine basis.
FSR 2
Provides superior customer service through listening to customers, anticipating their needs, and recommending financial services. Opens new accounts, takes loan applications, and refers customers to specialized bankers, such as Business Bankers and Mortgage Originators, to ensure the needs of the customer are met. Educates customers on automated service options available including ATMs, Internet Banking, etc. Supports the goals of the branch through effective teamwork. As indicated by level, may assist with routine Teller transactions on an on-going bases, may train new employees, may assist Branch Manager, etc. Pursues on-going education of SunTrust products, services, and other lines of business. Fully proficient in the sales and service of personal and business retail products; comfortable with consumer lending and application process. Perform proactive selling and cross sells. Provide customer service; in Retail Branches up to 20% of time is spent assisting the Teller line.
FSR 3
Provides superior customer service through listening to customers, anticipating their needs, and recommending financial services. Opens new accounts, takes loan applications, and refers customers to specialized bankers, such as Business Bankers and Mortgage Originators, to ensure the needs of the customer are met. Educates customers on automated service options available including ATMs, Internet Banking, etc. Supports the goals of the branch through effective teamwork. As indicated by level, may assist with routine Teller transactions on an on-going bases, may train new employees, may assist Branch Manager, etc. Pursues on-going education of SunTrust products, services, and other lines of business. Fully proficient in the sales and service of personal and business retail products; comfortable with consumer lending and application process. Perform more complex service and branch functions such as wire transfer agreements and set-up, Notary, etc. May assist the Teller in transaction processing. May include responsibility for relationship expansion of specific accounts.
Qualifications
Financial Services Representative 1
Minimum Qualifications: Minimum six months teller or sales experience. Qualified candidates must possess a minimum of 6 months experience in customer service, retail sales or as a bank teller, computer proficiency and excellent customer service skills. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated accuracy in completing detailed tasks and good judgment and decision making skills. Must be able to work rotational shifts and flexible hours as business needs require. High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications: Some college preferred. Proven track record for meeting sales goals.
Financial Services Representative 2
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 1 year retail sales experience or six months financial sales experience. Ability to respond in a professional manner with a high level of service qualify. Excellent verbal communications skills.
Preferred Qualifications: College level courses. 1 year in retail branch sales and strong probing and listening skills to uncover customer needs. Understanding of consumer and business lending instruments as well as deposit products. Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
Financial Services Representative 3
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 1 year financial sales experience with demonstrated consistency in meeting sales goals. Knowledge of branch operations, policies and procedures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
In addition minimally holds insurance licenses (Life, Health and Variable) and/or holds NASD Series 6 and 63 registrations; has maintained continuing education coursework to keep licenses and/or registrations in good standing.
Preferred Requirements: College level courses with an emphasis on business, finance or accounting. 2 years financial sales experience in a retail branch environment
