Description
Provide engineering related design, analysis, and studies for domestic or international projects.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities Supervises and leads a design team of engineers and technicians in the preparation of structural engineering calculations for steel structures and/or foundations. This includes basic analysis, design calculations, equipment research, sketches, etc., required to prepare documents, specifications, drawings, or to meet other project requirements. Supervises the technical preparation of various studies, conceptual design, and detail design in the role of lead structural engineer on various projects.
Minimum Qualifications Must have a BSCE degree minimum from an ABET accredited institution or foreign equivalent. Working knowledge of codes such as IBC, ASCE 7, ACI and AISC. Working knowledge of structural design of power generation facilities. 5 years minimum experience preferably in power generation facilities, but petrochemical or heavy industry may be considered.
Preferred Job Qualifications PE Preferred (or able to obtain).
Autocad, Microstation.
