Senior Vice President of Programs
Easter Seals Florida, Inc. needs a dynamic senior team member for a statewide leadership and supervisory position. The position will be based out of our headquarters office located in Winter Park, Florida. The qualified candidate must have strong financial, management and program service skills; preferably with children and adults with disabilities. Day travel and occasional overnight travel is required.
Specific job functions include, but are not limited to:
- Supervises and provides leadership development of Vice Presidents of Programs, ensuring uniform quality and practices across programs. Programs include: child development, pediatric and adult therapy, adult day care, camping and recreation and vocational services.
- Supports the Vice Presidents of development and programs as a visible partner in local communities and with funding partners.
- Works with CEO and grant writer to seek new program opportunities in the Easter Seals program pillars and related mission rich programming with an objective of lifespan service growth across all territory within Easter Seals Florida bringing ideas and opportunities to the senior team.
- Develops systems to evaluate program quality, developing system efficiencies across programs for continual quality improvement.
- Stays abreast of best practices and community needs across all service lines in all Easter Seals Florida territory.
- Exerts influential program expertise across all service lines in all Easter Seals Florida territory.
- Works as a key player with the CEO and CFO in the development of the organization’s budget, in conjunction with the Vice Presidents and Center Directors.
- Monitor budget continually and review monthly financial analysis to identify positive and negative trends and make recommendations for corrective actions to CEO and CFO.
- Participate in the development of a system which gathers data for measuring programmatic benchmarks, then continually utilize and analyze that data to insure program outcomes are consistent with organizational strategic plan and that funding sources’ outcome objectives are met.
- Assist, as requested, the development team and grant writing efforts to develop proposal language, cases statements, and other responses to funding opportunities.
- Work with state and regional boards as needed.
- Communicate, as a member of the senior team, with fellow team members on a regular basis to insure all parties are well informed, involved and working toward united goals.
Qualified individuals must possess a minimum of Bachelor's degree in social service, clinical, or business related field, and at least seven (7) years of related experience. Minimum of seven (7) years of supervisory experience. Travel required.
This is senior management level position with a highly respected non-profit organization.
