Expertise in evidence based psychotherapy and experience with pediatric patients who have co-morbid medical and psychiatric conditions.

Job Description: PEDIATRIC PSYCHOLOGY POSITION AT THE CHILDRENS HOSPITAL OF PHILADELPHIA (CHOP). The Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Science at The Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia is pleased to announce the availability of a psychologist position.
The psychologist in this position will provide a wide range of inpatient and outpatient consultation and intervention services to hospitalized children and their families, as part of the Departments Consultation-Liaison service. The position in particular focuses on children admitted to the gastrointestinal and liver transplant services.
The Psychologist will provide leadership in service model development and the coordination of psychosocial care for children with gastrointestinal and associated concerns. Psychologists also participate in the departments APA accredited Psychology Internship Training Program. Applicants must have a doctoral degree in psychology, 5-7 years relevant postdoctoral experience in pediatric, clinical child and family psychology, have completed an APA accredited internship, and relevant fellowship.
Licensure in Pennsylvania is required.

1. responds to consultation requests related to behavioral health concerns, and focusing on patients on the GI service
2. provides intervention services to children and families across inpatient units, and focusing on patients on the GI service
3. provides behavioral health services to children on the Liver Transplant service, including pre-transplant evaluations
4. provides intervention services to children on the Renal Transplant service
