Description
Under direct guidance, assists in pricing studies, profitability reviews, calculating premiums or reserves for new or existing products, performing research and other statistical analyses. Works with Actuarial colleagues in becoming familiar with company operations, business objectives and actuarial methodologies. Position is part of a summer program with an assigned mentor. Housing and relocation are not provided. Currently sponsorships are neither provided nor accepted at this time.
Job Qualifications
-Pursuit of Bachelors Degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Math or related field
-GPA of 3.2/4.0 or higher is required
-1 or more actuarial exams is required
-Previously completed successful internships is recommended but not required
-Knowledge or experience within the Insurance industry is recommended but not required
-Involved with extra curricular activities and/or volunteer opportunities is recommended but not required
