Description
Responsible for the design, configuration, testing and support of the SAP application to support the Human Resources business processes. Provides expert support to SAP users, and works to resolve problems efficiently to minimize business disruption. This person will work closely with the ERP team, Human Resources and other IT functions to ensure proper implementation of Information Technology projects.
Job responsibilities:
*Development, configuration, testing, implementation and on going use, management and enhancement of systems in support of multiple HR disciplines
*Configuration for Personnel Administration, Personnel Development (OM), ESS/MSS, LSO, ECM, Performance and Talent Management modules
* Develops functional specifications for inbound, outbound and conversion programs
* Develops/executes unit and integration test scenarios to support new programs, program changes and configuration
* Provides production support including analysis and research to resolve complex problems
*Helps manage business process and projects, setting priorities and measurable objectives, provides monitoring and reporting on the process/project and results
* Works with the customer to define scope, estimate costs, manage risk, define resource requirements, plan, schedule and report status
* Helps with the development of business cases and provides cost estimates for new implementations, new functionality and company acquisitions
Qualifications
*8+ years experience in supporting HR business processes through successful implmentation of IT projects
* 8+ years of SAP HR configuration and testing experience in the areas of PA and PD. Experience in HR Org structure (Positions, Jobs, Orgs), HR actions, ESS/MSS services and HR interfaces from/to external systems. Knowledge and experience in Enterprise Compensation, Learning Solution, Performance Management and Talent experience is a plus.
* 2 or more full life cycle SAP implementation experience.
* Experience in planning, design, build, test, training, roll-out and post go-live support phases
* Strong ability to gather business requirements and translate to technical systems design document
*Strong ability to write test scripts and conduct unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing
* Ability to resolve configuration and functional business issues across various HR modules
*Strong analytical skills - Independent problem solving with minimum supervision
