Develops new business areas which complement existing offerings. Develop business plans and formulate strategies for both new and existing businesses. Monitor and analyze product lines to help determine optimal strategy. Provide research, analysis and recommendations on the external environment as part of the development of strategic plans for the business unit. Analyze major competitor strategies, identify and monitor changing patterns of competition and recommend response. Acquire and maintain data/information on market, industry, economic, consumer and competitive conditions and trends pertaining to health insurance/managed care and related services. May lead or coordinate the activities of lower level staff performing related functions.
Qualifications
BS Degree along with 2 or more years experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced excel skills, and access knowledge preferred.
