Description
It is the function of the Quality Management Services Department to actively promote and continuously evaluate the effective implementation of Black & Veatch policies and procedures in the support of projects. This position is responsible for evaluating engineering, procurement, and construction activities through reviews, audits, assessments, and inspections to minimize risk and maintain a comprehensive functional Quality Management Program.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities Job functions will include quality input and review of procedures and processes; Quality Program development, implementation and maintenance. Be able to represent the Quality organization and serve as the knowledge resource for quality requirements on projects and review project documents for quality requirements. Additional job functions may include the development of standard inspection procedures based upon requirements, database maintenance and improvement to support documentation requirements. Leadership/participation in corrective action programs and performing and participating in quality audits and surveillances will be required. This individual will also participate in the development and implementation of programs for the indoctrination and training of all levels of personnel in the Quality Program and continuous improvements.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree or equivalent in a technical field with seven years exempt level experience.
Minimum of ten years directly related work experience in the following: Quality Assurance program development and implementation, Quality Control, Inspections, Surveillance/Audit, NDE Testing, Corrective Action Programs, Root Cause Analysis, and/or Regulatory Compliance.
Additional related experience may be substituted for the education requirement
Preferred Job Qualifications Experience in nuclear quality assurance a definite plus.
