Description Job Functions: 1. *Consults clients on forming investment decisions* Task Listing 1. Schedules appointments with customers 2. Completes a confidential worksheet fully disclosing to customer that Hancock Bank offers FDIC products and Hancock Investments Services offers non-FDIC products 3. Analyzes customers investment needs 4. Recommends product and/or services to best meet the customers needs 5. Verifies that the customer is fully aware of the features and benefits of each product and the fees associated with it 6. Services all customers investment needs including future investments decisions and yearly reviews 2. *Completes the sale* Task Listing 1. Completes all customers paperwork in accordance with compliance guidelines including prospectus if needed 2. Completes trade tickets, trade transmittal log, check receive log, and/or securities receive log if needed 3. Reviews all paperwork for accuracy and completeness 4. Liable for any fees incurred to Hancock Investment Services for incorrect paperwork submitted 5. Ensures checks are made payable to the correct source 6. Sends same-day to Baton Rouge for processing 7. Makes a copy of paperwork and creates a file to be kept at the representatives home office 8. Includes confirmation notices in customers file when received from Baton Rouge office 3. *Provides support to branches* Task Listing 1. Creates and maintains a weekly appointment schedule of branch location to meet with customers 2. Trains branch personnel on how to make referrals 3. Assists and supports in meeting their referral and investment goals by organizing call parties, customer appreciation days, contests, etc. 4. Conducts yearly compliance meeting with all branch personnel to ensure NASD guidelines are being followed 5. Attends branch meetings to monitor needs of branches 6. Maintains proper FDIC/SPIC signage and current brochures in all branches 4. *Responsible for annual completion of continuing education and license renewal* Task Listing 1. Attends annual compliance continuing education meeting held by Hancock Investment Services 2. Successfully completes annual course study and mail results to NASD for record-keeping 3. Schedules and attends computer based continuing education courses as needed 4. Renews license on an annual basis prior to deadline 5. *Performs administrative duties* Task Listing 1. Attends monthly sales meetings 2. Participates in weekly conference call 3. Completes and sends daily activity sheets to Baton Rouge office weekly 4. Responds promptly to emails, voice mails, and pages sent from management / back office 5. Returns customer calls promptly 6. Creates action plans for approval from sales manager 7. Attends annual workshop 8.
