Description
Responsible for underwriting residential mortgage loans to ensure compliance with bank, FHA/VA, and secondary market standards. Communicates with Processors, Originators, and other internal and external customers. Meets performance standards and goals established by the bank.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Functions as a group leader in a centralized operation by assisting in the training, assigning, and overseeing the work of lower level underwriters. Assists manager in general administrative duties such as accounting for time-off and preparing reports on the success of the unit. Contacts difficult and complex loan applications. Requires 5+ years experience.
