Organizational Description
The IT Infrastructure organization (ITI) is responsible for architecting, building and delivering core infrastructure (servers, storage, virtualized services, and data centers), global telecommunications (firewall changes, partner connectivity, networking), and end-user services (messaging, collaboration, workplace, print, and mobility) as well as partnering with Global Operations Control (GOC) to improve application availability by reducing downtime and IT incidents. Key ITI objectives include:
· Drive Operational Excellence
· Define and Drive Next Generation (NG2) Data Centers
· Optimize the Acquisition Engine
· Drive Organizational Effectiveness
· Re-shape the IT end-user experience
Job Description
The ITI DMEA (Demand Management, Engagement and Architecture) organization manages all requests for IT infrastructure and Global Telecom requests. The purpose of HPIT Change Management is to manage all application and infrastructure changes in the production environment through the RfC process (request for change). The position of ITI DMEA Business Consultant and RfC Analyst has the responsibility for reviewing potential requests for infrastructure changes and Global Telecommunications connectivity and submitting the formal requests via the documented RfC entry process. Specific responsibilities include:
· Review of potential requests entered from the application teams
· Write requests for changes (RfC) for datacenter infrastructure and global telecommunication changes
· Create periodic, basic reports to inform management on the process operations
· Communicating issues and identifying basic solutions to problems
· Lead and / or attend meetings as necessary for basic process improvements and issue resolution
· Serve as a subject matter expert answer basic procedural questions for requestors

The successful candidate MUST be pursuing their degree or have graduated within the past 12 months.
Experience/Qualifications:
· Bachelor''s (undergraduate) degree in engineering, technology, MIS, computer science or other similar degree
· Strong customer service skills
· Strong communication and presentation skills
· Strong organizational skills
· Basic analytical skills
· Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)
