Description
Requirements: Registered nurse license in state(s) with jurisdiction over practice location.
Masters degree from an accredited graduate school of nursing.
Eligible to sit for national certification exam for pediatric clinical nurse specialist or for clinical nurse specialist in specialty area.
Ability to work in a team setting with multiple responsibilities.
Ability to use Microsoft Office, including MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
All CHOP employees who work in a patient building or who provide patient care are required to receive an annual influenza vaccine unless they are granted a medical or religious exemption.
Job Description: In collaboration with the health care team, the Surgical/Trauma Clinical Nurse Specialist provides expert family-centered clinical care and clinical consultation within her/his area of expertise to improve outcomes and to promote integrated health care that is safe, equitable, timely, effective, and efficient.
