Description

Participates as a member of development team.

This is an exciting opportunity in the Next Generation Configuration IT Team.  The team develops and maintains complex configurations sales tools to enable rapid, accurate, and efficient sales processes contributing to HP revenue.

We are looking for motivated, analytical and fast learning individual who is interested in making a contribution to this very important function.  The individual would have opportunity to work with a world-class global team in the delivery of next generation of high end configuration tools.

This position allows an individual opportunities to work with different IT technologies, and participate in different phases of software development life cycle.  Particular assignment could include support of application, business requirement gathering, system configuration, software development, release management, testing and delivery of the IT application solution.   Technology ranges from WebLogic, Oracle 11g, Java, J2EE, .Net (C#), and Adobe Flex.

This is a (Graduate or Entry-Level) opportunity.

The successful candidate MUST be pursuing their degree or have graduated within the past 12 months.

Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical or Computer Engineering (Master''s degree is a plus)

·      Intermediate knowledge of Java

·      Basic knowledge of DB concepts

·      Understand the phases of Software Development Life Cycle

·      Strong communication skills.

·      Self-motivated/fast learner

·      Excellent analytical skills

·      Linux Knowledge

Nice to have:

·      Experience with Oracle 11g

·      Knowledge of Adobe Flex

·      Experience with Weblogic/J2EE/Web Services

·      HPUX knowledge

·      .Net (C#)

·      Javascript
