Description
We are currently seeking a Senior Developer, Modeling Systems, in Westlake Village, CA.
Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and support predictive modeling systems encompassing Power Information Network (PIN) proprietary mathematical models using the .NET framework (C#, VB.NET, Visual Studio Tools for Office)
* Design and implement automation of recurring processes (QC, data collection, etc) using the .NET Framework (C#, Windows Workflow Foundation & third-party components)
* Assist in design and development of OLAP cubes and supporting data mart using SQL Server Analysis Services and Integration Services
* Build custom dashboards & User Interfaces for PIN predictive modeling tools using .NET controls & VSTO (exposure to building dashboards in SharePoint or other technologies is a plus)
Qualifications
Required:
* Bachelor''s degree in Engineering/Computer Science
* 5+ years of experience implementing enterprise level systems using Microsoft technologies including .NET Framework, C#, VB.NET, Windows Workflow Foundation, Windows Presentation Foundation
* Expert knowledge of best practices in programming including Design Patterns, Data Structures & Algorithms
* 5+ years of experience in implementing multi-tiered systems integrating heterogeneous technologies
* Working knowledge of SQL Server (Analysis & Integration services) and exposure to SharePoint and Amazon AWS
* Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
* Soft skills: Strategic thinking, attention to detail, sense of ownership, personal initiative, demonstrated leadership
Preferred:
* Masters in Computer Science or Engineering
