Description
The Assistant Manager is primarily responsible for managing the store in the absence of the Store Manager.br /
br /
Responsibilities of the Assistant Manager consist of, but are not limited to:
Supervising and directing the activities of employees
Ensuring excellent customer service
Hiring, training and development of employees
Monitoring compliance with company policies and procedures
Maximizing sales and profitability
Controlling expenses
Ensuring flawless execution of programs

Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate verbally to both large and small groups of employees
Strong analytical skills
Strong understanding and commitment to Sheetz Corporate Mission, Vision, and Total Customer Focus
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
A two-year degree in business related field preferred
Successful completion of certification testing as needed
Experience:
One-year experience supervising others preferred.
One years experience supervising others in a fast food, restaurant, retail or convenience operations preferred.
The above mentioned salary is the minimum starting wage for this position.br /
