Basic Qualifications:


Must possess five or more years experience implementing, IT hardware and software solutions. Must have demonstrated experience with business process.


 


Core Competencies:


- Bachelors Degree in Business and/or Information Technology or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience


- Demonstrated experience facilitating projects.


- Demonstrated experience facilitating customer solutions relationship experience with focus on converting client and/or customer needs into solutions.


- Demonstrated knowledge of Transmission & Distribution business goals, processes, challenges and requirements to facilitate recommendations.


- Demonstrated ability to analyze, plan and execute solutions.


- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence stakeholders to ensure the business objectives are met while keeping in line with larger organizational objectives.


- Demonstrated initiative and accountability to overcome obstacles.


- Must demonstrate excellent business mastery, including the ability to integrate work across relevant areas, develop the business and services to enhance customer satisfaction and productivity, manage risks and safety appropriately, develop and execute business plans, manage information, and provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.


- Must demonstrate excellent management mastery, including effective resource and project planning, decision making, results delivery, team building, and staying current with relevant technology and innovation.


- Must demonstrate strong personal mastery, including ethics, influence and negotiation, leadership, interpersonal skills, communication, the ability to effectively manage stress and engage in continuous learning.


 


Comments: Additional testing may be required as part of the selection process for this position. Travel within Edison territory as required.


 


Preferences:


Understand basic Edison O&M and Capital financial principles.


 


Typical Responsibilities:


The successful candidate will meet with T&D Management on a regular basis to understand business process, goals and strategies to enable recommendations for IT products and services in support of business initiatives. Typical responsibilities include: serving in a liaison role, keeping in constant communication with IT and T&D Management to align business strategies and upcoming technology hardware and wireless capability changes; making decisions using existing policies and standards as a guide, however, will be expected to deviate based on changing business need, experience and good judgment; working with IT and T&D Ordering


Center to ensure the T&D end-users have the hardware and software tools they need to perform their responsibilities effectively; providing analysis, status reports and deliverables as requested; making formal presentations to groups of 10 to 20 people; negotiating and influencing stakeholders to ensure the business objectives are met while keeping in line with larger organizational objectives; attending organizational staff meetings and performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
