RESPONSIBILITIES

Regional Sales Director will be responsible for developing corporate retirement plan sales in Southern California through intermediaries across the independent channel via wholesaling efforts, building strong relationships, and executing an assisted sale model with plan sponsors.  Specific responsibilities include:

* Presenting technical product knowledge in an innovative way
* Providing marketing support and coordinating customer service to financial advisors
* Regularly updating agents on industry trends
* Maintaining supportive relationships with brokers through informational meetings and troubleshooting
* Build strong relationships with brokers, TPA''s and Plan Administrators, and execute an assisted sale model with plan sponsors
* Keeping brokers ahead of the competition and providing sales ideas that work in the current financial environment
* Performing other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of wholesaling experience

- Knowledge of defined contribution plans and investments
- Current Series 6, 63, life licenses or willingness to get them
- Minimum of 60% travel
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong organizational and time management skills

There is base salary for this position plus the potential to earn significant incentive compensation.
