The position of Electro Mechanical Assembler Technician II will be responsible for but not limited to the following specific duties:
* Conduct failure analysis on refurbished units. Includes troubleshooting the machine, analysis and identification of the problem, replacement of parts, and handoff of the machine to assembly with an explanation on how to complete the refurbishment.
* Work with Service to continue the education process on the machines and to learn and apply new troubleshooting techniques
* Help develop, mentor, and train assemblers
* Must follow all department and product related procedures
* Complete accurate and timely documentation of analysis
* Update written procedures
* Typically works in a team assigned to a specific model(s) with another Tech II and several assembly workers
* Operate various tools including miltimeters, calipers, and crimpers
* Pick components from warehouse per pick list and records designated lot numbers for traceability.
* Build a variety of warming units to meet production schedules.
* Perform visual inspections of components prior to assembly.
* Follow all applicable procedures and mechanical drawings for the model to be assembled.
* Box units in accordance to specific drawings & procedures.
* Responsible for identifying and troubleshooting problems that are encountered during the manufacturing process and notifying department manager/mfg. engineer of those problems.
* Perform unit functionality tests.
* Responsible for accurately recording applicable information on DHR for each unit built.
* Perform re-work for units that fail quality check points and notifies department lead of any component related problems.
* Assembler is responsible for recommending process improvements that increase the quality of or efficiency of building warming units.
This position requires working:

Qualifications
Basic/Minimum Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
* 1 year of experience assembling electronic equipment
