Description
Requirements: High school graduate.
Experience in institutional food preparation or equivalent demonstrable knowledge skill.
Minimum three years experience in large scale food preparation as a Working Cook.
-Knowledge of cooking methods/procedures, including types of preparation and related routines.
-Knowledge of kitchen equipment.
-Must be able to read English with understanding.
-Good communication skills.
Job Description: The Nutrition Services Third Cook is responsible for performing any of the following: Preparation and cooking of food, operating various kitchen equipment, caring for and maintaining department equipment and supplies, while maintaining established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, and safety standards.
