Description
Kraft Foods is currently seeking candidates wanting to work in a team environment at the Suffolk, VA operation. Successful candidates are willing to contribute improvement ideas & suggestions to help continue the success of the plant. Associates will operate, maintain & troubleshoot all production line equipment associated within the department to prevent and/or correct mechanical & electrical breakdowns, following strict product safety & quality standards. Associates must have the ability & initiative to lead & participate in plant problem-solving teams, ability to apply problem-solving techniques, communicate effectively, demonstrate leadership & plan effectively. Interested individuals must be able to work in a fast paced, multifaceted environment & be able to communicate effectively.
Pay range: USD21.68 - USD27.15
Qualifications
* Minimum of three (3) years relative maintenance related experience
* High school diploma or GED
* Background in industrial, mechanical, electrical, computer systems
* Must have knowledge of & capable of performing special technical skill (basic electrical troubleshooting, basic PLC skills, machining, welding tasks, gas trane)
* Must have a working knowledge of electrical installation & construction, AC/DC motor drives, gearboxes, hydraulics & pneumatics systems
* Must be available for shift work & weekend work as needed
* Must be able to move up to 50 lbs.
* Must have knowledge of or be willing and able to train in Maintenance Systems (SAP), computer skills, lubricants & lubricating systems, & new technologies in predictive maintenance
* Support high performance culture and continuous improvement programs through active participation in QCDSM and plant productivity programs
* Comply and activly participate in all safety (KSRMP) and environmental (KEMS) policies, procedures and programs. May serve on KSRMP team.
* Comply with all QCMS program requirements including HACCP & GMP''s
* Perform area housekeeping duties
* Perform all tasks as assigned by supervisor
