Description
Primary Role: This role is designed for a local Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Part Time/Vacation Relief Driver . Wages are based on a Union scale and competitive benefits are available. All applicants must be at least 21 years of age, hold a Class A License with airbrakes, and past experience is preferred. Must be available to work any shift in the morning, afternoon and/or evenings.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Union involvement ~ Full time driver positions based on seniority and availability.
Responsibilities include loading trucks, maintaining/cleaning the warehouse and delivery of product to stores.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
· Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
· Must have or willing to get a minimum CDL A- valid driver''s license.
· Successful completion of DOT physical /drug test, motor vehicle and general background check.
· Basic math skills to balance receipts each day.
· Ability to use scanning equipment.
· Able to lift up to 70 lbs. consistently.
· Past warehouse experience (1 - 2 years)
