The Hartford is looking for experienced Account Executives with a successful track record in Life Insurance Sales. We offer a unique opportunity to work in established distribution channels that provide an unlimited amount of high net worth prospects. We have national, regional, and local selling agreements with wirehouses, banks, Independent broker dealers, and property and casualty firms and are looking for experienced financial professionals who have sold Life Insurance using advanced concepts and have the skills and knowledge to help financial professionals close sales. Our Account Executives work exclusively with our distribution partners to provide life insurance solutions to their clientele.
WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION?
The Account Executive is accountable for personal sales results within an assigned territory. Expectations include:
* Meet (or exceed) assigned annual sales goal
* Development of business through financial advisors located in Wirehouses, Banks, Independent Broker Dealers, P&C Agencies and Indepdendents. This includes both wholesaling duties and Point of Sale activities.
* Demonstrated knowledge of The Hartford''s products, services and programs by effectively using this knowledge to compete and sell within the marketplace.

WHAT IS THE COMPENSATION OPPORTUNITY
At The Hartford , our compensation philosophy is simple: we offer a base salary plus commissions. In addition, you will be eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits program including Medical, Dental, Life and Disability Insurance, a 401K Plan, an Employee Stock Purchase Plan and more.
Qualifications
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
* Thorough knowledge of advanced life sales concepts and marketplace
* Must be Life & Health / Series 6 & 63 licensed
* Minimum of 5 years successful life insurance sales experience required.
* Professionals Designation CFP, CLU, ChFC a plus
* Experience working with other financial professionals on joint sales calls
* Strong presentation and seminar selling skills
* Prior sales management, wholesaling, and life brokerage sales a plus
