The SHC suite of Space Planning Systems exists to enable the merchant and planning areas to effectively plan, execute, and monitor the space planning strategy across all SHC form-factors. The Space Planning IT team is responsible for a wide variety of applications used to support Space Planning and other client areas.  The business functions these applications support include Planogramming, Floor Planning, Space Optimization, Reset Transition planning, Item/Store Authorization, and a variety of Reporting and data processing and integration functions.

The I&TG Team Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of new technology development/deployment, system enhancements, and associate development programs related to Space Management.  This role will work directly with the Space Management leadership team and be responsible for executing upon the strategic roadmap of future system deployments, enhancements, customizations, and talent development needs.   This leader serves in a critical role as the point person with the business units and is responsible for ensuring projects are clearly defined, managed, quality controlled and implemented on time. The team is also responsible for supporting the day to day operations of existing applications which are critical to the business success.Responsibilities

Client relations.  Includes main role working with Space Planning business area, but also includes working closely with other client areas (such as Store Operations, Replenishment, etc.)
Vendor relations.  Working closely with various software vendors whose products are currently utilized at SHC.
Lead support team for a variety of applications, across a variety of technologies and database platforms, for a varied and wide client base.
Project Planning.  Lead projects from initial idea through business requirements gathering, design, estimating and approval.
Project Management.  Lead approved projects to final implementation.  Includes resource planning, budget monitoring, status tracking, reporting, and project close out.
Budgeting, forecasting, and vendor payment tracking and processing.
Resource planning, resource development, and perform formal review process for applicable associates.

Skill/Experience Requirements:

10+ years experience in information systems technology.
5+ years experience in project management.
5+ years experience in resource management.
Must be team player, self motivated, and work with minimal supervision.
Possess the passion to continually seek out new knowledge from others.
Possess the desire to create and influence change through behavior and enthusiasm.
Analytical and technical ability to understand complex business processes and the systems functionality, to successfully support and/or lead on a wide variety of projects.
Must excel at communicating complex issues in simple to understand yet actionable ways.
Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems or related field, or the foreign equivalent.

Desired:

Experience with JDA Intactix software package.  
Experience in MS Project.
Working knowledge of space planning principles, practices and methods.
Experience with AutoCAD, Oracle MSM (Macro Space Management) or other store planning/merchandising solutions.
. Strong understanding of managing applications in a distributed environemnt using Oracle Databases.
