Description
The Project Leader - Business Intelligence serves as the primary individual for analysis, design, development, deployment, and overall project management for business intelligence solutions in Enterprise Informatics. Requires comprehensive knowledge of data warehouses, data modeling, dimensional modeling, and overall warehouse architecture. This position also requires expert knowledge in Cognos, Business Intelligence tools, a demonstrated understanding of Microsoft operating systems, MS SQL Server Analysis Services and Integration Services. This person should have a strong ability to analyze requirements and build BI applications to specification, strong understanding of SQL and MDX, relational databases structures, and knowledge of C# and JavaScript development. Job Qualifications:
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor''s Degree is required; preferably in Computer Science, Information Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
Masters degree in related field is preferred.
MCITP - Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional certification is preferred.
IBM Cognos developer certification is preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Six (6) years related Information Technology experience required that includes three (3) years experience in deployment and development with Microsoft and Cognos BI stacks.
Full working knowledge of data warehouse methodologies and data modeling to include dimensional modeling is required.
Experience with tier-one applications, databases, and data warehouses, such as Oracle, MS SQL Server, Lawson, Cerner, or other ERP applications is required. Strong understanding of SQL and MDX is required.
Microsoft OLAP cube development preferred.
Experience with Mac interoperability is preferred.
