For more information, visit Sears Holdings' Web site at http://www.searsholdings.com. br/ The Vendor Content Manager is responsible for managing vendor provided content builds for specific Sears Holdings websites (Sears.com; Kmart.com; MyGofer.com). The team led by this individual plays a key role in helping our customers make effective purchasing decisions through rich product content. Content production is facilitated through internal content management application(s), internal and external business partners and third party vendors. This role manages a team of analysts to prioritize work activities, measure impact against metrics, and manage resource performance. br/ JOB RESPONSIBILITIES br/ 1. Works with content analysts and merchants to determine business requirements around taxonomy, content migration and workflow for each vendor br/ 2. Plans and prioritizes vendor content build forecast br/ 3. Manage, lead and advocate continuous improvements on content item build processes br/ 4. Analyzes operational and process issues and provides recommended resolution/escalation paths br/ 5. Functions as a primary liaison for communications between IT and the business users (merchants and product vendors) for onboarding vendors br/ 6. Proactively identify and escalate issues concerning content builds br/ 7. Ensures alignment of content priorities to strategic objectives br/ 8. Provides input in identifying enhancements to current business tools to ensure business and system requirements are met br/ 9. Manages vendor content build metrics (forecast against actuals, cost savings allocations, average time to build, etc.) br/ br/ Education/Training br/ Must Have br/ 1) Bachelor's degree required with concentration in eCommerce, IT applications, business administration br/ 2) Ability to understand relational data models and related business rules br/ 3) Ability to understand complex applications and business processes br/ Nice to Have br/ 4) Experience with MS Office Suite, Project Management, Visio, MS Access required br/ br/ Experience br/ 1. 7-10 years eCommerce/content/web application experience and in managing resources br/ 2. Strong experience managing resource performance and prioritization br/ 3. Strong overall communication and interpersonal skills br/ 4. Demonstrated ability to coordinate deliverables and meet deadlines while maintaining quality of work br/ 5. Proven ability to analyze work and prioritize effectively br/ 6.
