Job Responsibilities Summary
This position is responsible for:
Development of new products to ensure maximum membership growth and to remain competitive in the national marketplace.
Managing and maintaining the existing product portfolio.
Coordinating company resources necessary to complete intricate project plans.
Positioning dental products for market introduction ensuring that all offerings are operationally feasible, comply with state regulations and are financially sound.
Leading and/or participating in cross departmental meetings.
Managing complex business issues from start to finish.
Analyzing competitive intelligence data.
Required Qualifications
3 to 5 years of experience in a product development, project management, sales, service or a related environment in a health/dental insurance organization
Strong interpersonal skills, excellent problem resolution abilities, and project management proficiency.
Advanced working knowledge of health/dental products, project management, sales/service process workflows, and marketing tools.
A comprehensive understanding of contract, benefit and product rating, product financial performance, regulatory requirements, current competitive forces and market needs.
Ability to assess and recommend product portfolio strategy, while considering potential impacts of market, competitive and legislative forces
Preferred Qualifications
A Bachelors degree
