SUMMARY
This is a senior IT leadership position reporting directly to the CIO of ITT Corporation and dotted line to the President of the Industrial Process Value Center.

The Director of Information Technology leads the development of strategic plans, and directs information applications and technology deployment on a global basis for IP. He/she is responsible for the day-to-day communication and support between the user community and the technical and operational components of the IP IT organization and the ITT Enterprise groups (Data Center, Telecommunications, Solution Center, Network Management Center, etc.). In addition, they will work with IP & ITT senior management to establish strategies that have a direct impact on process efficiency and competitive capabilities. Responsibilities include business relationship management, program management, tracking the activities of the customer support process and insuring the availability, responsiveness, and effective utilization of the IT resources to the value center and ITT shared services and consultants. He/she will be responsible, as a senior Information Technology Team Member, to develop and implement application strategies and technologies that enable the business and are in line with the ITT Corporate standards and security policies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
'' Works with the business to understand the needs and establishes IT strategies that enable business growth and improves business process efficiency and sustainability.
'' Manages the business relationship with IT and represents the Value Center''s interests within the ITT IT Corporate Teams
'' Manages Local and Enterprise applications for IP '' break/fix, enhancements, and projects for new functionality.
'' Works with the business to create, implement, and manage a global long term ERP strategy and roadmap
'' Supports SOX compliance, Security Compliance, M&A activities, and growth opportunities in the Emerging Markets for the business
'' Develops and presents project and technology proposals, and provides status and progress reporting to the management team.
'' Change Management Leader with the business to drive standards and improve customer service and efficiency
'' Recognizes and identifies potential areas where existing policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed, especially regarding future business expansion.
'' Implements and operates on a daily basis using continuous process improvement as a way of life. (Lean, ITIL, Six Sigma methodologies)  Required Experience:  QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience, MBA preferred.
VBSS Blackbelt certification, Master Blackbelt preferred.

Experience: Minimum 10 years experience in leadership of large-scale systems planning, analysis, design, and development projects.

Experience with ERP system rationalization, consolidation, and implementations

Other Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

Passion for customer service! Highly motivated and responsive to the business needs and is a very strong team player across the business functions and within the IT teams.

Experience with advanced management techniques and practices including career management, budgeting, planning, analysis, and reporting.

Well-developed and regularly demonstrated managerial competencies including; leadership, teambuilding, self-confidence, results orientation, interpersonal astuteness, visioning, strategic planning, and communications.

Technical competence in both infrastructure and application development/deployment projects. Demonstrated ability to understand and leverage technologies to meet business requirements.
