Responsibilities:
Senior Associates work on a variety of assignments, including business enterprise valuations, purchase price allocations, loan & financial instrument valuations, stock option valuations, and dispute consulting.
* Monitor changing regulations, providing input to regulatory policy makers such as Financial Accounting Standards Board, International Accounting Standards Committee, Securities and Exchange Commission, and Office of the Controller of the Currency and other financial services regulatory bodies to develop implementation guidance and new financial reporting rules with valuation implications
* Perform in-depth industry, market, and competitor research and valuation analysis on a wide range of public and private entities and consumer and commercial debt instruments using accepted approaches and theory
* Interview clients and design financial and risk models for discounted cash flow, market multiple, intangible assets, and option pricing analyses
* Oversee the analysis and quality control projects for influential companies throughout the world
* Responsible for preparing complex strategic reports outlining data pertinent to engagement, market research, company valuations, and analysis of strategic and financial alternatives to assist clients in anticipating and adapting to increased market competition
* Present and defend reports regarding analysis and conclusions of findings
Requirements:
* Bachelor''s degree with CPA and/ or CFA designation or Master''s degree in Finance, Accounting business administration, or engineering
* Minimum 3 years in public accounting or consultancy environment with at least 15 months focusing on financial services entities, preferably constructing and reviewing valuation, risk and other financial models including: DCF, comparable company, loan portfolio default/loss studies, stock option, risk based capital, and intangible asset models
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills, to compliment strong verbal and written communication skills
* Extensive Traveling is expected to meet the demands of our global clients
* Knowledge of software packages including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, required Visual Basic or C++ experience is an added plus
