Description
The position will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of marketing and communications strategies that align with our overall Medicare enrollment, member communications and member retention objectives utilizing multiple communications tools and channels. The ability to think creatively and strategically is equally important.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Operates in the development, management, and execution of comprehensive, marketing plans for the Medicare products for both the annual enrollment period and throughout the year. Expertise in Medicare benefit design and regulatory environment essential.
· Proactively builds effective, strategic working relationships with product, sales and regulatory leaders in assigned business units. Manages internal stakeholder expectations around marketing plans, messaging, priorities, budget and time lines.
· Support various internal departments to develop communication plans for current Medicare members.
· Develops strategic and tactical marketing plans based on business strategy and plans.
· Expertise in promotions, communications, event marketing and campaigns to develop and delivertargeted and effective messages to our target Medicare population.
· Work with Regulatory Department to ensure all marketing communications are complaint with federal and state regulations.
· Proofreading, copy writing and editing.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with other marketing team members on multi-cultural marketing initiatives.
Assist with copy writing and reviewing of various marketing materials regardless of product.
Work Experience/Qualifications:
· 5-8 years of marketing experience coupled with Medicare experience.
· Strong Medicare product knowledge required.
· 1-3 years supervisory or management experience.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor''s degree required.
Technical Skills:
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works outdoors and frequently works indoors.
Conditions of Employment: Employee must pass pre-employment screening which includes a background check and drug testing. Employee must present documentation to verify minimum of high school educational requirement.
