Account Executive Inside Sales
Description:
Our company has an immediate opening for a motivated sales
representative to join our expanding sales team!
TransitCenter is a leading provider of commuter benefits
programs. We are a growing, dynamic, innovative company helping
commuters save money while encouraging greater use of public
transit to reduce traffic congestion and improve air quality.
Our programs and products are tailored to suit both large and small
companies, and include a variety of products designed to work with
nearly any mode of public transportation.
Responsibilities:
The Account Executive is an inside business to business sales role
responsible for prospecting, qualifying and generating interest to
successfully close new deals
• Heavy outbound sales calls to small and medium sized
businesses (less than 300 employees) offering TransitCenter
products
• Build pipeline for new accounts through cold calling,
following up on marketing campaigns and events, and online
generated leads
• Prospect accounts in all major transit markets
• Work with account management team to ensure smooth
transition and implementation of new accounts
• Maintain contact database
• Update and maintain sales forecast
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3+ years experience in business to business phone sales
including selling a service
• Comfortable with prospecting, cold calling, closing
business over the phone
• Demonstrated ability to create a strong pipeline
• Organized, independent, resourceful and diligent in
maintaining CRM data
• Excellent PC and internet skills, including Microsoft
