Job Description Summary:
GW facilitates ongoing recruitment for various temporary, data entry staff to fill short term staffing needs. Temporary positions can be located at the Foggy Bottom or Ashburn, Virginia campus. Please note temporary positions are not benefits eligible.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
Operates data entry equipment and/or enters data at a workstation. Transcribes, deciphers, and codes alphanumeric data from source documents and verifies data for accuracy and completeness.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma and 0-2 years of relevant experience are required.

Working Conditions:
The incumbent performs job duties in a normal business office environment. Tasks are generally carried out in a sedentary format. This involves working while sitting at a desk for extended periods of time. Typically, the incumbent will not be exposed to adverse weather conditions, or physical activities to perform the job other than occasionally lifting office supply items that may weigh up to 20 pounds. Additionally, the incumbent may be required to attend meetings in other offices, or deliver and/or retrieve information from other offices around campus.
The ability to operate basic office equipment such as personal computers, duplicating machines, fax machines and standard office telephones may also be required.
Physical Demands:
occasionally lifting office supply items that may weigh up to 20 pounds.
