Description
Job Purpose
The incumbent will manage daily activities supporting a cGMP warehouse operation including receiving, storage and issuing of materials, warehouse management, inventory reconciliation, logistics, SOP compliance and regulatory compliance at the manufacturing facility.
Major Duties
Managing a staff of shift warehouse personnel to ensure safety, quality compliance, and warehouse operations are prioritized with site goals.
Development and performance management of warehouse personnel.
Business Process Expert in the utilization Novartis business systems (SAP, TrackWise, WebTraining, etc) to execute warehouse operations.
Manage the receipt, quarantine, storage, issuance and transfer of materials.
Establish, execute and maintain an inventory cycle count program.
SOP authoring and compliance for warehouse operations (cGMP/non-GMP)
Management and processing of outgoing shipments including cold chain logistics
Adherence to expense budgets as well as manages to standards and manpower requirements to meet production requirements.
Responsible for technical problem solving, operational improvements and efficiency improvements to reduce operating costs. Minimum requirements BS Engineering, Science or Business preferred, but may be substituted with expereince.
Minimum 1-2 years related industry experience, although 5+ years preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of GMPs and FDA requirements required.
Experience with cold chain logistics (domestic and international), strongly preferred.
Experience with SAP preferred.
