Description
Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services is seeking an Information Assurance Officer for Northern VA.
Experienced Information Assurance Officer (IAO) to work as a member of the Information Systems Security Team providing guidance and support from the Washington, DC. Metropolitan Area. The IAO will provide continuous security operations and management support of the information systems at the site and nearby secondary support sites. Responds to day-to-day security requests. Day-to-day activities include:
· Review of registrations forms for Personal Electronic Devices (PEDs)
· Review and approve or deny the entry / exit of AIS equipment
· Ability to perform CRT black light check on monitors to be accessed in order to check for burned in characters or classified data
· Create CD / DVD for user support
Responsible for the certification and accreditation (C&A) of medium to highly complex systems. Responsible for the review of low to medium IA-related trouble tickets and Infrastructure Service Requests (ISRs). Knowledge of the NGA Systems Development Lifecycle. Experience managing relationships with systems security engineers needed to achieve accreditation. Ability to review Engineering Orders (EOs) for security related issues. Experience facilitating the creation of Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms). Responsible for working with Program manages to work-off liens. The candidate will work with system program managers, systems administrators, and information systems security representatives to facilitate the production of C&A packages in a cooperative manner. These packages will consist of systems certification and accreditation packages that are expiring, being re-capitalized, and new systems being deployed.
Qualifications
Clearance requirements: TS/SCI
Degree needed: BS in Engineering, computer science, math. 8 to 10 years of technical experience.
