Quintiles is looking for a SharePoint Architect, that will be responsible for the execution of an enterprise portal platform strategy. The enterprise portal platform will provide a single consistent user experience to our customers, partners and employees. As a SharePoint Architect, individual will be required to design and implement an appropriate portal solution that aligns with the organizations vision. He will be required to take lead in defining a governance around the SharePoint that will provide architectural authority on best practices, delivery model for implementation of an effective portal.
Qualifications
· 10+ years IT experience with a minimum of 4 years of Enterprise Portal development/implementation experience
· 5+ years experience with the following is required: ASP.NET, SQL Server, C#, .Net Framework, Silverlight, and XML/XSL features.
· Experience with SharePoint Portal Server 2007
· Experience in developing solutions using Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, Business Data Catalog, Excel Services, Workflow integration
· Experience developing custom web parts
· Experience integrating enterprise content with SharePoint to include: content indexing, personalization, restricting access to content
· Ability to understand the big picture and to identify and resolve key issues
· Strong communication, presentation, consulting and documentation skills
· Strong sense of ownership and commitment
· Significant experience on multiple full-life cycle Enterprise projects. Experience should include architecture, development, implementation and integration
· Experience with performance tuning and security on all aspects of a Portal infrastructure
· Experience with MS SQL Server, Windows OS (2003 / 2008) Active Directory or other LDAP, Java, ODBC/JDBC.
· System integration experience including any of the following: ERP, legacy systems, e-mail and calendar systems
· Experience in integrating business intelligence products with SharePoint is desirable
