VP Provider Analytics - Telecommuter-370363
Description
-Assist unit leader with the development and implementation of the strategic plan to access and leverage hospital and health system clinical and administrative data in OptumInsight products & Services.
-Work closely with Provider Consulting team to support cutting edge client projects
-Build and develop relationships with key clients in the hospital and health systems sector enabling OptumInsight to work closely with them and to leverage their clinical and administrative data for creating OI solutions
-Triage opportunities to work with clients and gain access to their de-identified data for purposes of concept development and testing.
-Understand the critical business issues facing hospitals & health systems, and the way data and analytics can illuminate and clarify these issues and improve system performance.
-A solid understanding of quality measurement and reporting in the hospital & health systems environment.
-Lead teams of analysts in developing products and solutions for the hospital & health systems space leveraging experiences and data gained through working with partners.
Ideal candidate should also have experience in a consulting environment.
Qualifications
-Masters or PhD level education or experience in health related field
-A minimum of 5 years experience with hospital & health systems administrative and clinical data systems
-A minimum of 5 years experience in building relationships with customers
-A minimum of 10 years of experience in developing and conducting analytics and research projects in the health care arena.
