Description
Basic Function:
Selling PSNA products to Panasonic Resellers and End users . Managing Reseller and Rep Firm Sales Activities/Performance relating to Panasonic Product. Assist in creating End-User demand and growing the revenue base in the assigned geographic territory.
Accountabilites:
1. Selling/Account Mgmt./Customer Service
a. Attain minimum of 100% of assigned sales quota
b. Develop business and relationships with Dealers and Rep Firms through close communications to ensure successful and quality end user representation of Panasonic products and solutions.
c. Ensure that the territory has the optimum dealer representation and coverage to maximize the revenue opportunities in assigned territory
d. Promote new and key products to the customer base through demonstrations and presentations.
e. Collaborate with internal departments to develop and manage sales and marketing programs to increase awareness & demand for our products
f. Maintain records of customer info & performance. Establish goals & track performance to objectives
g. Manage customer service issues to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and retention
h. Maintain a high level of product knowledge; attend product/software training as available.
2. Prospect Development
a. Develop & identify new dealer or Rep Firm opportunities through prospecting and making dealer calls/demos to meet the company objectives of establishing new business opportunities.
b. Work with dealers and Rep Firms as much as possible to help develop this new business; including but not limited to assistance with staffing, end-user calls, technical demonstration and support.
c. Maintain data base of calls to prospects for future use and communications.
d. Attend trade shows, events and meetings to identify new prospects.
3. Planning Administration
a. Provide timely, accurate & complete sales reports & forecasts. Attend required sales conf calls & mtgs.
b. Give thorough market feedback to management
c. Give a high degree of attention to individual performance against the assigned business plan
n Plan activities, agendas, programs with achieving business budget always in mind
n Give high attention to the plan numbers, current and projected performance to that plan
4. Product Knowledge
a. Maintain a high level of competitive product awareness
b. Keep abreast of the changes in technologies and communicate this knowledge on to your dealers/customers and internal team
Qualifications
Scope:
· Reports to National Sales Manager.
· Managing all aspects of the dealer and MRO business within assigned territory, concisely and professionally.
· Minimum travel required = 75-80%
Problem Solving:
· Collaboration and networking skills needed to effectively navigate the internal organization to resolve issues and meet customer requirements.
Know How:
· Bachelor degree in business management, sales, marketing is preferred.
· Minimum of 5+ years successful sales experience required; 5+ years channel management required.
· 5+ years sales experience in Security technology based products preferred.
· PC Skills: MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point (Required), SAP (preferred)
Communications:
* Independent Contributor. Strong, professional verbal/written communication skills required.
* Must constantly communicate with dealers, management, and internal staff in a very clear and positive manner.
* Ability to present products to dealer community and end-user
