Description
This Healthcare Account provides a full suite of IT application development, testing, configuration, and maintenance for the Medicaid Management Information system.
The position is required to be on-site full time in Nashville, TN.
The Project Management Office will set direction on PM processes, tools, and methods aligning to HP standard offerings. Ensures every day compliance to those processes. Trains, develops and provides HR support to the project managers and PMO staff that support the account. Provides senior level interaction with the client executive and leaders on all PM matters with strong focus on recommendations for process and quality improvement. Runs the Change Management process. Engages on all CMMI direction and planning. Senior member of the account leadership team.
1.Manages customer project delivery
· Revenue as detailed in Impact section
· Very large/ complex/ multiple regions or global

· High/very high complexity legal and commercial issues
2. Contributes to managing project financials including P&L
· Meets or exceeds approved budgets
· Provides reliable financial forecasts to deliver service requirements
3. Manages business development
· Identifies and develops new opportunities on current project
· Supports qualification and opportunity assessment for large and moderately complex opportunities
· Sometimes acts as opportunity manager for medium to high risk deals
4. Manages client relationships
· Manages mid to upper level client delivery relationships
· Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients
5. Manages project team
· Manages work assignments to internal as well as external resources with a team size less than 20 people
· Mentors and encourages skill development of project team members
· Provides performance review input and indication of area of development for team members Delivery or opportunity management with visible impact on HP Services revenue normally less than USD3M or transition/ transformation for a USD50-100M (Gold level) deal.

Qualifications
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelors degree; or may substitute 10+ years work experience in managing projects or PMO level work.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Healthcare government industry experience strongly preferred. Prior experience managing projects in or for state government agencies helpful.
Required technical skills: Proficient in MS Office tool suite; MS Project Server and SharePoint skills; Competent in the PMBOK;
Required certifications: PMP certification
Preferred experience/skills: Senior level project management experience in Healthcare (Medicaid experience preferred),
Years of experience: 5+ years leading projects in advanced or senior level of responsibility.
Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of key HP Services'' operational policies, processes and methodologies applicable to project management. Has an extensive understanding of critical project management techniques Recognized as a leader in the HP S Program Manager (PM) Professions community Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified
