As a Lands End Shop Lead, you will support the Lands End and Sears management teams in the planning, productivity, control and direction of the Lands End Shop. You will do this by managing the day-to-day operations of the Shop (i.e. workflow, sales goals, schedules), coaching consultants to ensure they are providing customers with a world-class shopping experience, executing floor sets according to Lands End Brand Standards, facilitating new hire orientation and product training, and managing the flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
   Supports the Lands End District Manager and the Sears Softlines Assistant Manager in developing a high performance team by assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Lands End Shop (i.e. workflow, staff supervision, achieving sales goals, weekly schedules), along with training and coaching on product knowledge, visual merchandising presentation skills and customer service expectations to enhance sales
   Able to effectively perform the day-to-day responsibilities of a Lands End Shop consultant (i.e. servicing the customer, demonstrating product knowledge, processing customer transactions using POS system and Lands End in-store direct sale kiosk)
   Supports and actively participates in the recruitment, interview and selection process of all Lands End Shop consultants
   Executes and directs team on all floor resets and markdown activities
   Ensures that the sales floor is set to Lands End Brand Standards at all times
   Leads by example in providing customers with a world-class shopping experience; utilizes consultative selling practices and guidelines to identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
   Acts as a role model and personally contributes to Sears store and Lands End Shop goals
   Accompanies the Lands End District Manager during the store visits to assist in identifying areas of opportunity and developing action plans for improving the Shops performance
   Assists in resolving customer issues and complaints; escalates issues to Lands End District Manager and/or Sears Softlines Assistant Store Manager as necessary
   Facilitates efficient replenishment flow and representation of merchandise
   Maintains a neat and orderly stock room to facilitate identification of merchandise to be brought to the sales floor
   Adheres to merchandise protection standards
   Performs other duties and projects as assigned by the Lands End District Manager and the Sears Softlines Assistant Store Manager

Strong Candidates will have:

   Retail management experience
   Superior retail and/or customer service experience
   Strong selling, communication and coaching skills
   Prior experience leading and developing a team of associates
   Strong organizational and project management skills
   Ability to form strong partnerships and communicate well with store teams
