Position Overview:
Reporting to the CIO, the Product Manager will lead the research, roadmap creation and release definition efforts for our new product in the insurance carrier arena.
The Product Manager will identify and plan any changes necessary to assure the overall success of the product.
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain strong product management relationships with customer to identify and meet workflow needs
Track, control and maintain product perception levels with customers
Identify, prioritize and maintain roadmap of key projects and opportunities
Conduct customer research and maintain a deep understanding of the customers needs and industry trends to ensure product is competitive and meets the markets needs
Define requirements for revisions and releases
Recommend new opportunities through market analysis, industry trends and customer prospective
Champion product and serve as a key company spokesperson and resource for competitive intelligence and analysis
Recommend priorities for development and address next steps
Required qualifications:
BA/BS minimum. MBA a plus.
3-5 overall years experience in insurance claims and/or Vocational Rehabilitation (Long Term Disability, Short Term Disability and/or Workers' Compensation.
3-5 years experience, including product management, pre-sales (technical product specific), product marketing or related technical role.
Demonstrated strategic impact at the product level and experience with product release planning and product roadmap management.
Experience with product management functions, including writing requirements, roadmap, market research, competitive analysis, product planning, marketing concepts and proposals.
Experience in defining and developing solutions to meet customer requirements.
Strong communication/presentation.
Organizational skills such as task management and decision making.
Results-Driven.
