Peopleclick has an immediate opening in the Raleigh, NC office for a Manager, Operations Engineering. The Manager of Operations Engineering is responsible for:
•managing the engineering team that creates, revises, tests, and debugs systems software to improve the efficiency of business operations, 3rd party applications and operating systems
•utilize a service management business model to drive process and procedures to support internal and external customers
•recommends the most efficient way to produce and support products
•evaluates progress, results and provides periodic reporting regarding engineering efforts
•ensures project related contributions are completed on time and according to corporate quality standards
•facilitates communication and collaboration upward and across project teams and other business units for project status, issue escalation, justification for variances, and technical information
•ensures appropriate documentation is created and maintained
•establishes and sustains relationships along with team credibility in relation to other departments and business units

Job Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. If no degree, equivalent experience (1 year of experience = 1 year of college) will be considered.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent knowledge of systems software and operating systems. Excellent organizational, time management, project management skills, and leadership skills. Effective communication skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience:
Minimum seven (7) years of software engineering and/or application support experience, including at least two (2) years working with systems networks, and at least two (2) years as a team leader or manager.
