Description
The primary responsibility of this role is to strategically position Prescription Solutions through our proposal responses. This will be accomplished by using a variety of resources, including our standard response database, marketing collateral, company Web sites, corporate Subject Matter Experts and other resources.
In order to be successful in this role, the qualified candidate should be able to:
- Think critically and write effectively to ensure that each response is strategically written and customized to meet the needs of the customer.
- Develop strong relationships with Sales, subject matter experts, and others throughout the organization to ensure that the needs of the client are met.
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to effectively position Prescription Solutions in the RFP. Must be able to work effectively with individuals throughout the organization to obtain the information to write high-quality content for proposals.
- Coordinates proposal development activities including drafting proposals for new and existing clients (e.g., employers, government), gathering related statistical and system-related reports, and directing the preparation of supporting documents and analyses.
- Works closely with sales, product, legal, pricing, and other functions to tailor contractual provisions to reflect prospect''s needs, company interests, and appropriate resources and timelines.
Qualifications
- Self starter with ability to work independently
- Knowledge of PMAPs WebPro preferred
- Strong time and project management skills
- Strong computer skills, including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong focus on quality
- Bachelor''s degree or equivalent work experience required
- 2 to 3 years of previous RFP experience in a PBM or healthcare environment working on large public sector bids highly preferred
